My 2004 didn't have much room for access behind tail lights. But I'm sure a pdr guy could fit the tool in there. $150 deductible is nothing as there is a fair bit of work to get that looking factory again.

Is repaint typically included with PDR? I thought it was just the dent removal and paint was an extra job.

Yeah exactly. So what reason would I have to pay $150 deductible and still have to get it painted?? I like to pretend I have money, but I don't. So I can't be spending this type of money and still not have the job done.

Can't you get better access if you reach up from the bottom of the rear quarter?

Not so much. The spot where the taillight sits is in the way on the backside. I can just get my fingers touching the backside of the dent. And it looks like that taillight spot will be in the way if I try to go that way. No way at it there, I think. I'll have to try the heatgun/compressed air method. I'm less worried about getting the dent out and more about the paint. I know fuckall about paint repair.

Paint is a wear item, it's 12 years old, you should be happy.

    ???

Who considers paint to be a wear item? If paint is taken care of, it will last much longer than 12 years. This is assuming no damage.

Sadly its an auto but Dont worry once parts are off it it'll probably be a part out, unless I'm feeling adventurous and try to rebuild the rear of the frame. Interior is kind of shot, body isnt horrible, frame is Swiss cheese

That's why I paid out the ass for my '04. Manual, 4x4, and no rust on the frame. Totally worth it! Super clean rig inside and out. Sad to see this one in the state that it's in.
