First off i would like to say hi. I love the forum! Its given me some great ideas on how to empty out my wallet!

Is it true that these trucks do not have a fuel filter? I mostly do my own maintenance on my vehicles. I just hit 40,000 and have done some regular maintenance (oil and filter, air filter, cleaned intake, etc.) I really wanted to change the fuel filter but i can't seem to find the thing. Any suggestions?

None currently, but I would like a better sounding exhaust and perhaps a cold air pack and some color coded step bars
I believe the fuel filter is in the fuel tank, as most fuel injection engines have the pump sitting in the fuel tank, to push fuel instead of sucking it.
Its always good to leave some fuel in the tank, instead of running it dry, as the gas keeps the fuel pump cool.

there's no fuel filter for second gen tacos. you would have to replace the whole fuel pump assembly as a fuel pump strainer wouldn't be available either. I know this because i work at autozone :( Dass ist nicht gut!!
