Most new cars have an chipped key. You can unlock the door but cant start it without the chip working.

I tried that at first but when I put the key in the lock and turned it sounded like it unlocked but it still wouldn't open the door. I tried it every way the key would turn with the same results. Also I have push button start so it wouldn't have don't much good once I got inside.

Yep. Even if I could have gotten inside I wouldn't have been able to go anywhere.

Good news is after visiting Toyota and about 4 different CVS and Walgreens stores I finally found a battery and I'm back in business.

I do sincerely hope you get it to work. But this is why simplicity wins over complicated

I love Prime. I bought a new battery for my spare as well so that both keys will be good. What's funny is the spare was acting up(which is why its the spare)and my main key was perfectly fine until it wasn't.

Noticed. Figured I'd ask since someone was gauging interest in wheeling outside of Austin a few weeks back... anyway, if someone DOES want to wheel, holler.

I knew a girl that locked her keys in her car. Asked how did you do that if you use the key fob to lock it. She said she does it manually cause she didn't want to waste battery:facepalm:

Told her batteries for this thing is like 2 bucks. Lol

Another V build. 255cfm head's, custom grind cam, 1300cc injectors, running E. Will probably be 750ish wheel depending on the tuner and how hard they push it.
