Are they worth the cost or are there better options? Looking for a good option to level my truck. I will soon have a 2017 sport. Will leveling it have any impact on mileage?

far better options for the money, depending on your idea of value. only reason id consider oem shocks is fear of voiding warranty(i dont have that issue, some do. i understand). highway mpg will go down when you increase aerodynamic drag. i notice no difference below 50mph but mpg declines above that speed

Tires kill mpg more than a small lift.

Warranty can only be voided if toyota PROVES that specific part was at fault... the burden of proof is on them.

2nd gen here, but 2" lift..... 21mpg, just about same as highway rated

i get about 18.5mpg on the highway usually between 70 and 80. i get about 22.5 on 45mph backroads which is most of my driving. think it actually made a decent difference. im probably 2-2.5" over stock and took off the air dam which could possibly help a tad at highway speeds

everyone says this. so you go to your local dealer and they tell you they wont cover a part. are you going to find the one lawyer in the country who has the expertise to argue this claim? and do you have more money to pay your team of lawyers than toyota does? ok, didnt think so.

Exactly they can refuse all day, do you have the time, resources, etc to prove it isn't the lifts fault, burden is more on you than them.

Ya cant make a wolf out of a sheep, so im not gunna reply after this. Enjoy your truck.
Dont forget to keep ur tires stock, and stock size..... cuz thats how it was sold, and u dont wanna void warranty due to an oversize tire, or non covered tread Pattern lmao.

bunch of stuff - Bro Pro style
This thread did a morph pretty quick I'd say... to the OP - IF you want a Pro suspension I cant see how a dealer can void any warranty, my gas mileage went down after my lift (about the same 1.5" as the Pro), ride significantly improved enough that I am OK with the small loss of MPG.

My issue with the Pro suspension is the cost and it's not adjustable like other Fox suspensions for our trucks are. So you'd be paying extra for a lesser suspension. I'd go buy the Fox adjustable coilovers and rear shocks and put on some new rear leaf springs. You'd come out with a better suspension, same lift for less money than the inflated cost of a Pro suspension.

+100. To add to this. The whole time you are arguing with the dealer, your truck is still sitting there broke

First thing they tried to say when my diff howled was my new tires. Just saying, many service departments are quick to not do the work and blame a lift, etc. they can deny you warranty work all day, burden still remains on you. I've seen guys get shafted on leaf fixes because of aals and guys screwed out of dif seal leaks, etc. again not everyone but it happens and do most have the time to prove and fight a case that it wasn't the lift? It's a gamble you take lifting.

No one is arguing it's not law or fact just that it dosent mean you still won't get warranty work denied or have a hard time getting it done because of it.

But the fear attached sometimes is ridiculous.... the poor guy should get the suspension he wants without worry of warranty matters from a corrupt dealership.
Too many ppl get bullied into stock everything until the truck is out of warranty.

i sincerely apologize for throwing out the only reason under the sun someone could justify stock shocks for insane money. and most dealerships are corrupt in some way shape or form.

god i love lift threads on a slow day at work!
