    Hey everyone,

I found a great deal on CL for a used A.R.E. MX fiberglass cap. I want to make the deal today but can't find a definite answer...

The cap is coming off a 07 regular cab. I have a 13 access cab.

Is this going to fit my truck? I know it's the same sized bed but is the angle different? Anyone have done this before? Have pictures?

    Thanks.

I think it will fit,but the regular cab has a different angel than the access cab, it will have a larger gap.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if the larger gap causes any leakage? The ARE website doesn't specify any difference in angle.

I don't know for sure,I think it is how close the cap sits in realation to the cab.As far as leaks I would think it fits the bed the same. If it is a good deal go for it,sell it if it does not work out.

I got a brand new leer for my pickup and it leaked a little after the install. Went back to the dealer and they used some putty to fill in the gap and correct this so don't worry too much about it. If its a good deal there is always a quick fix to a minor issue. Good luck!
