Now the Super Swampers, that was a total disaster. Even though they outlasted Michelins...:stirthepot:
Would buy again though. Just not for this truck.

    lol. :D
Thinking back on the history of tires for the Scout and before that on my Jeep, I started with fatties on both and ended up with tall and skinny. Although fat tires absolutely rule in the sand.

Maybe a 1" body lift and some minor fender trimming and I can just throw the 37's on it. They are only 10" wide tread so should be ok at full lock.

I didn't even know that size was available at the time or I would've strongly considered them.

    It's looking good.
Now I'm looking at 17" sizes, way more options.

Yeah I hear ya. I only went with the 305's because I do have the extra width without having wheel spacers so they work for me. High five on going with the coppers.

As opposed to that metric stuff, that's what he was thinking, I think.

It's important that I don't go smaller in dia for the gearing. I can however go a bit bigger. Nobody nearby has them in stock, otherwise I'd get a test fit and run a tape measure across them.

I'm guessing you don't believe bfg when they it's a new compount, tread design with different siping and stronger sidewall. One thing I can say for sure it's that it's 100X better in snow that the old ko's.

It had a few frayed spots along the rope. Nothing that was bad, but it shouldn't have been shipped new like that.
