    Little bit of stuff.
I'm sure you've read this a thousand times from us newbies, so please bear with me.

I've browsed quite a bit so I'll try to keep the FAQ's to a minimum.

Just had the frame and leaf spring recalls performed, came out of the shop a week and a half ago.

So here's the lo-down. I recently bought an 06 Sport extended cab 6MT.

Exquisite condition, 243k miles, original clutch. Rides like a damn champion.

Debating on a K&N Cold Air Intake. Partly for tone, partly for a few more ponies.

I have a Rough Country 3" suspension lift ready to go, and buying some 33x12.50r17 Toyo' MT's.

Looking into a Pelfreybilt front hybrid bumper in the next year or so, and BodyArmor Rear.

To the vets of the Taco world, any warnings or suggestions based on the above?

    Thanks in advance guys.

PS, I'm just south of Boston MA if there's any other New Englanders on here.

There are much better options for lifts than the rough country one for similar $$$ - other than that sounds like you've got a solid plan.
    Welcome to TW! :D

As a Taco owner with a K&N - Don't bother unless you REALLY want the tone it provides. You won't notice any other difference.

As for @Pelfreybilt - DO IT!! Those guys are awesome people and they make killer bumpers/armor. I've got front and rear Pelfreybilt bumpers (front has full hoops). Check out my build thread if you want photos.

If you've already purchased the Rough Country lift you might as well install it. But - here on TW it's well known why it's called "Rough" Country I hear. Definitely designed for the budget minded so I don't wanna ruffle any feathers. We can only afford what we can!

Common quality lifts by cost low to high:

    Bilstein
    Old Man Emu
    Fox/Icon/Toytec

First of all, I have no disposition towards putting this lift in other than the fact that I already have it. I bought it off a buddy for cheap who had it in stock and wanted it gone. I'm not surprised in the least that it would be worth it to spend the money on a higher quality lift. This is my daily driver for now, so whatever mods I do need to have longevity and durability in mind. Thanks for the input guys :)
