By the way, got the hood struts installed with the help of my son! They are awesome. And the hood is not at all hard to latch closed. 20161001_165231.jpg

Lol. I do stay in touch with the world of-course, I'm not a hermit. I always have a tab or two open for some of my favorite sites TW, reddit, art of manliness etc when I am not working or at the gym. I spend majority of my life behind a computer screen as I works as a firmware engineer, studied EE, so yeah. I use a VPN + Tor browser for my privacy. Life is too short to waste all of it online and your phone.

Because of the regear, I have a slight whining from rear diff. while accelerating. The shop that install them said nothing to worry about he got a great pattern . Sometimes ends up with a little bit of a whine or hum. Might go away with some miles on it, we will be changing the fluid in a few hundred miles.

Another plus with the regear that I don't here much about, I really noticed today that it slows down and comes to a stop much nicer, and I am sure is easier on the brake system.

A little warning for you . Make sure you tell anyone thats going to open the hood that you have those struts otherwise they will automatically force it open!!! Like my service tech tried to!

I will, once the latch pops it goes up pretty quick on its own. Then again most people aren't very bright these days! :angrygirl:

Rpms are about 2000 @65 - 70. Before they were @1500- 1600, when I could get it to do 6th gear, and it would end up back in 5th gear. I tell you, I can't wait to drive it again tomorrow because I think the more I drive it with the 4.88's the more I am going to appreciate them. And I would be afraid that 4.56 might not be quiteenough to do it. I think on my 2011 with the same lift they would, but not on the 16!

I started adding ditch lights but then alcohol & football got involved and I didn't finish. I got the under hood stuff done but the dash of my truck is still torn apart. Here's a pic of when I was testing my connections. I'll finish tomorrow before football and alcohol decide to intrude again.

    GO VOLS!
