    Scratches, dents, lots of squeaks.
Can I expect to get 2.5 on the top setting with stock coils?

    Yes.

Since u have progressive coils, expect it to be pretty firm too

Only the TRD Off Road models have the progressive rate springs, not the TRD Sport models.

Why not get 885 coils to go with the 5100s? Cost is low and it is a better setup than highest setting on stock coils.

    Agreed.

I have 884s with 5100s and the ride is great.

I highly suggest buying/setting springs for ~1.5" of lift and using top plate spacers. The 5100s have extra travel that isn't utilized unless you use to plate spacers and/or shorter bump stops. You will need something other than stock UCAs.

This is what I did and it rides much better than having the Off Road coils set at 2.5". I currently have my 5100s set at 1.75" with a 5/8" spacer on the driver's side and 1/2" on passenger side. Softer ride and more down travel. I may go to 7/8" and 3/4" spacers.

So is mine. There was a considerable difference in ride quality.

No, but I now have more up and down travel. The extra down travel helps with pot holes, very steep off camber driveway approaches, etc.. We have crappy roads here in Wisconsin.

RC step bars. Clazzio seat covers. Bilstein 5100's front /rear 1" block rear, color matched grill surround, Tacoma all weather floor mats, Depo smoked taillights, bed mat, matte black bed decals, matte black badges.
I set mine at the 1.85 (W/ stock springs) setting got almost exactly 2" up front and it rides great.

I wouldnt go above the 1.75in setting.

I did the 1.75in setting with stock coils and a 1/4in lean plate (no need for longer studs) on the driver side. Ride is great, but even at 1.75in i opted for aftermarket ucas to get some decent alignment numbers
