    Drivers side works without a hitch.

    Passenger side goes in and out, but not up and down.

    What's in there that makes these work..... where do you suppose the problem lies ?

    You're going to have to take it apart sooner or later. Why not take it apart and see what is preventing it from working properly?

    There are two motors inside. One for right / left and another for up / down.

    Before you start ripping the mirror apart you could take a look at the wiring behind the mirror control switch on the dash. Look for a loose connection, crimp coming out of a connector, or anything out of the ordinary. If you end up taking the mirror out also check the wiring behind the mirror.

    Good thinking.... the ham fisted inspection sticker guy was just up under there cursing the fact he couldn't get to the OBDI......

    While we are on the subject of mirrors.... Will any more modern ones fit my '06 ?

    Maybe with marker lights or directionals in them ?
    I've been following the nice weather south these past few winters, don't care much about heat.
