    I've removed this post for mentioning umbrellas. That really seemed to trigger a lot of snowflakes. This is now a safe space. Stay wet.

    Fucking weirdos.

    What is the overall length of the two factory storage compartments end to end? I see that your deck is 50", did you extend beyond or is that flush with the compartment outer side? I really do wish that Toyota would offer the Utility Package on all the Access Cab trim levels, it makes no sense other than that they want to push out as many vehicles as possible before next year; the mid-size truck market will have more choices for buyers when Ford and Jeep jump into the field.

    @Cagedodger,

    I like your mod. Looks very clean and useful.

    Could you kindly tell me more about your tool box? Brand, model #, price etc.? I have AC with a utility package. I might use your idea.

    You can skip the umbrella if you like.

    I've had the toolboxes for a few years but best I can figure from a quick Google search they're DeWalt TSTAK DWST17807: Length: 17-1/4, Width: 6-1/2, Height: 13.

    The safe is a Sentry Safe QAP1E 0.08 cu.ft.

    Thanks for the reply, the toolbox fits perfectly, I like that idea. It's best to have gear in a secure place for sure, I witnessed a rollover of a Nissan Pathfinder; the dude was a union contractor and his circular saw ripped right into his torso. After seeing that, all my stuff is secured from now on.

    Hey those are pretty neat! I added a pair to my wish list.

    Are the seats able to slide all the way back with the tool boxes on the floor??

    Those are the ones, good price too.

    Seats go all the way back (I drive with the seat all the way back) but it's right a tight fit.

    Wow. Thanks so much for posting this. I just bought two of these and hot damn, its like they were mean to be there all along. I spray painted the orange side lever thingies flat black to make them a little less conspicuous. I have an OEM+ sub in the back and these two tool boxes fit perfectly next to it. The jumper seats fold down and cover the DEWALT logo and silver front latches. Looking in the back windows, you would never know they were there. I couldnt be happier!

    I went thru pep boys with a crap magnet, got it all
    I put my rear seats on (4) 3/8" "Ball Lock Pins". I can remove both seats in about a minute . The extra space comes in hand on cross country trips.
