Going to wait for iron banana next week and do the crucible. Hopefully I like spremecy in team vs FFA

 

I am just starting to slip into the mid 350s and have done pretty well with exotics lately. I have everything exotic at or above 350, the Khostov is a fun weapon. I use either that or the Monte Carlo in PVP and they both work well. I got both Gjallahorns and a new Super Good Advice. Now I am just going to crank out some leveling a little at a time. I still don't understand how these dudes are leveling up past 370 so soon.

 

I have to admit, the Mida is a damn nice rifle. I just had a 20 kill 6v6 with only 2 deaths using it. 10.0 k/d, not bad.

Picked up the quest for the Outbreak Prime last night. Awesome quest to open up the final chest. I love the server room puzzle. Now we have to do the raid one more time today and I'll have the gun tonight. Guess that's what we get for complaining about the sleeper simulant quest lol.

Ran Trials yesterday on the new map. Made it to round 6 before finally running into a group that crushed us lol. We were rocking along until then.

Got every single raid weapon now out of the raid along with all the raid armor (even though I don't use the armor). Picked up the Genesis Chain last night and it's a pretty cool Auto Rifle. Only Auto Rifle with Firefly in the game as far as I'm aware. I've got to say that my favorite weapon out of the raid is the Chaos Dogma Scout Rifle. It is a boss killer. Critical hits put rounds back in the chamber so you never have to reload. It's also the hardest hitting Scout Rifle in the game. I took it into trials and it is a 2 shot precision kill.

 

For those of you that still use the Hung Jury you'll feel right at home with the Chaos Dogma Scout Rifle out of the raid. I love the sound it makes when it procs and puts ammo back in the mag.

 

Yea, that rifle looks sweet.

Up to doing the raid once again on the Outbreak Prime. One more number sequence to enter after the raid and the 390 pulse rifle will be in my collection. I really like this quest.

 

How in the fuck is a 380 something player with a 390 pulse rifle allowed in the Crucible!@#$! Only thing I could take the asshole out with was the Mida. His primary shield barely moved with a 354 Monte Carlo and even Khostov wouldn't affect him. Leveling up sucks.

 

In regular Crucible or Trials? A 385 player is allowed to be in regular Crucible just as much as you are.

In regular Crucible level advantages are disabled so it doesn't matter what his level was or the power of his weapon. A level 15 could go in with all blue weapons and armor and do just as good if not better. The Outbreak Prime is okay in Crucible but it is not the best weapon to take in there. Now if you were playing Trials that is a different story (or IB but that isn't active until Tues). But regular Crucible it doesn't matter the level.

We played Trials yesterday where level advantages are active and still managed to do well at 379 going against players that were 385 + so it's all in how you play.

Depending on the map and distance the Monte Carlo or Khostov is not going to take them down very fast. So if you were shooting from any distance you were going to get your ass handed to you at a distance where pulse rifles shine.

Oh... If you're trying to level up by doing Crucible you're doing it wrong (unless you have all your highest light level items equipped the entire time).

Example. Here is my Grasp of Malok with very low impact but since Pulse Rifles got a buff they will burn others down at medium to long distances. If you were to try and shoot your Monte Carlo from the distances I was shooting from It would do little to no damage

no worries. I hit a road block at 350 and its taken me forever to hit 352/353.

I had no luck getting ppl for the earlier TTK raid, so im gonna try agian around 11 EST if you wonna join.

 

TTK Raid wouldn't help you level up

 

Most of us hit that roadblock. Its a damn ghost shell holding me right now. 357 stuff is happening for me.

 

just trying to complete it to have it complete. Then the WotM and im "done" for a little bit haha

 

I tell you, did quite a few 350 strikes and just now starting to see 357 gear drops.
