I did peel the back, it clearly says to do so on the instructions sheet and there's also a protective plastic film on the front to protect the logo.

But from reading product reviews, at least one person trashed the product because they had the same issue with it not sticking which is the main reason why I posted my fix to help someone else that wants to use it.

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!

Sliding oem all weather floor-mat fix.
When I first installed these, they’d stay put, but after a a couple months, they began to slide every time on my passenger. So I got some gorilla super glue from homecheapo and glued a strip of Velcro on back and problem solved!

    FloormatGlue.jpg

I took a strip and cut it approximately the length of the Tacoma embossment

    Floormat1_Fotor.jpg

Turned the mat over, and the back of the embossment is smooth and raised. This is where a put a thin layer, not drops, of the super glue with the intent of cementing the strip on.

    Floomat_backsude.jpg

Let it dry for a day and no more sliding!

    Velcro_installed.jpg

    No more tears!
    Cheers!

Ya those spiky teeth things on the bottom of the mat don't do much good. It's amazing why Toyota just didn't include the same turn clips like the drivers side

Yes it is amazing especially when they put it on my 4R, so you'd think they'd know right? :/

The dealership accidentally did my first one at 5K but they said since it's fully synthetic every 10K on the oil.

Yeah no way in sweet hell i'm going 10K on oil. I don't care if it's synthetic or not, 5k is it.

    Retired/Hobbyist old as f***
9 months old today with 7200 miles. Daily driver for work commute. When I sold my 1 year old F150 it had 9995 miles on it. Taco oil still looks clean. Will get change at 1 year roughly 9000 miles. After my free 2nd change will go to 7500 intervals on full synthetic through engine warranty period and then 5000 intervals after that. If she blows up on 10000 mile recommended changes it will be under warranty. At this point hoping the transmission makes it through 1st year anyway.

Thanks Bacon! Gave up the Budweiser a little over 16 years ago. I prefer ice tea these days. (I wake up and my head don't hurt)

Silly questions. Home brew sweet tea is the only option.

I had my 2015 Colorado built and I traded it off 6 months to the day and bought my Tacoma. I had a severe brain fart when I bought the GM product. I thought the dipstick sucked.. wire cable with a glob of pot metal on the end of it. The seat back levers were cheaply made also. I could see the gas door was going to cause me problems down the road. Factory done a shoddy job installing the black vinyl flooring, (I had mine built without the back seats in the extended cab so that deleted carpet) the door seals leaked on that colly is the biggest reason I traded it off. It is someone else worries now.

I use a quarter cup of sugar to a gallon of tea. Like to get off it and drink nothing but ice water. I'm down to drinking ice water till 12 noon and from noon to 4 pm I drink ice tea. My bodies old injuries hurt like the dickens without the caffeine in the tea or I would get off it completely. Don't like pain pills. Lost a couple good friends to those darn things.
