Well, we broke the news to our little girl about little Jacob. She took it like a five year old should. No real grasp of what death really is. She went on to asking questions of what heaven is like, as she did when her papa died. I think she feels OK about going back to school since policeman will be there to stop the bad guys. This is not something your kids should have to go through. Please pray for this community and our country!

 

Off and on drizzle/rain here for 5 days now. 60 degrees when I left the house @ 0400. @ work (for now) 2 more "normal weeks" (whatever normal is) then my wife goes on 2nd shift for 6 weeks. We'll be passing each other in the driveway in the afternoon, and have about 45 minutes together in the morning. Still have Saturdays together. Both of us are just about fed up with our jobs.

 

Thoughts and prayers for you,be strong.

 

No way I could bring myself to "like" your post. If there was a "very strongly dislike" option, I'd be all over that.

Yes, they sound nice un-corked.
When we used to take my buddy's Chevelle to the track, the open pipes drowned out the noisy gear drive, even inside the car when driving in the pits.

I always miss the good stuff. Was at my mother's most of the day, she is getting better. We took her on a field trip back to her apartment. She really misses it, but now she has incentive to finish rehab. Then my sister, her husband and I cleared more junk out of mother's garage. 4 Honda CRV loads of stuff went in the dumpster. Nasty, sweaty work.
I had some energy after my hour long drive home, so I pulled off the Taco's grill and painted it. Blacked out the radiator supports and added quick connects to the LEDs I installed. Added a ew more coats this morning. Waiting on it to dry so I can slap the truck back together.

I guess I missed a good time on the forums last night, but I had fun working on the truck
