I was 2 seconds away from cursing the new recall leaf packs they put in! Started to feel spongy, and alot of body roll... etc!

DOH! crawled under her today and low and behold the LR 5100 shock busted. I have to admit, they lasted a a good while, through 3 different front lifts and shocks, lol!

Anyway, it has been years since i looked into rear shocks, i like a stiffer feeling shock. So before I just go ahead and order some more 5100's figured I would ask you guys if anything better has come out.

I have 3" AAL in back.

    Thanks in advance :)

if i do one, after so many miles, i'll just do both. but, thats what i was thinking after doing some reading. not necessarily for price, but have not seen too many reviews on anything better. i forget what part number i have but, pretty much decided on BE5-B110-T5's

With my dakars and the extra leaf I ended up using the Tundra length 5100s. The Tacoma sized ones just bottomed out too easy.

I don't remember. It was a few years ago but they've been good since. I spoke with the sales guys on the phone and he had me go out and measure. They were a lot longer than the stock size.
