One I'm looking forward to is the Ruger MK IV. I currently have two MK IIs and one MK III. I've had several others I've sold. I love the feel of the MK II 22/45. The only issue I've ever had was the difficulty in disassembly. Now the MK IV addresses that. I didn't feel the MK III was an upgrade of the MK II, but the MK IV might be the best yet. Hope they bring out a threaded model in the next 6 months so I can have a reason to get one.

I have a MkI and an MKIII 22/45. Both are good. I also have an M&P compact 22, and a Beretta Bobcat. Also a S&W kit gun 22 revolver. In the past I've tried a Buckmark, a S&W M&P full size 22, a couple S&W 22As, and probably others I can't think of at the moment.

I really need to order a S&W 617, but it's tough to drop close to 4 digits on a 22.

Yeah, spending that much is hard, but can be worth it. I want to add a S&W 41 to the stable but so far just can't make myself do it. I've recently started selling off a lot of guns and replacing with fewer, better quality guns. I'll eventually get around to doing that for my 22 pistols.

10 rounds of trap. Three rounds of doubles practice, because I suck at doubles, then 4 rounds of singles. I got the date of the PITA multiplex wrong, they changed it to SATURDAY this time only, and I showed up on Sunday, you know, the usual day. So I got to practice with another guy that doesn't have Facebook and didn't get the memo. We shot a lot of trap, and I ran 50 straight in singles, which would have tied for top score at yesterdays "real" shoot. Doesn't count, but I decided, what the hell, lets see what I could have done...Shot another 50 to see if I could get my first 100 straight...nope, would have been my third straight 97 of 100. I'm not disappointed.

Just looked at it, serialize the lower like an AR, lengthen the grip a hair and make it convertible from 22LR to 22mag and 17HMR/Mach2 and it would be the absolute best rimfire on the market.

The mark IV is going to be my next rimfire purchase, shot a mark 3 a while back and it was the most comfortable gun I've shot, the difficult take down is what kept me from buying one.

It is hard to do. One thing about buying several cheaper things over time is that you sell them
and then get higher quality ones. I had a cheaper 1911, sold it and got a Springfield TRP, then sold it a few
months later and got an Ed Brown. Sometimes though as they say, Buy once cry once, done. Did that a couple times, lol.
