    New guy here!

Just purchased a 06 Tacoma 4 door short bed
been browsing the treads quite a bit
and have been learning a lot.
im looking to give my rig a raise by a couple inches and put on some 32' or 33" tires
ive been off-roading for around 15 years or so.
currently scoping out the German landscape for some killer trails

    Ride on!!

I snagged me a German wife and we have found one nice little playground area today with some water crossings and such
going back soon to explore the rest!
along with that there's plenty of unmaintained logging roads!

Just have that German wife along with you. There were plenty of forest roads around that I road my mountain bike on, but I don't imagine they'd of looked kindly on an American driving his big ass truck on.

Enjoy the area. I lived in Bechhofen and really enjoyed the area. Did a lot of hunting around there. Lots of cool stuff to see in the woods too.

Sorry for the late jump in, but I am curious as to where your playground is at? I haven't found much out here to mess around with.

There were lots of logging roads south of K town. I mostly rode my mountain bike on them as I wasn't sure how officials would like me driving my Avalanche on the back roads, but there were plenty. Lots of neat stuff out there too. I saw quite a few old ruins that were hundreds of years old, plus lots of deer blinds. Don't drive around out there during deer season unless you really want to piss off some people.

Yeah I can imagine the locals getting edgy if I was romping the woods while they are out there doing what they classify as "hunting".

Welcome to the site. Miss my time in Germany. Saw some great bands there. The Alarm in Frankfurt as well as Rush with Primus as openers.
