It looks like the majority of us removed the Air Damn.

I researched further and there looks to be no significant gain in MPG's with the Air Dam. I personally don't like the way it looks, especially if the truck is modded up.

Is it relatively easy to remove? Is it just a bunch of plastic thumb punch holes or clips?

Hmm after I did the alingment on my truck it was fine. I was able to put the car back to stock alingment specs. I never noticed uneven tire wear on any of my tires. Front or rear.

@iHoopAlot Awesome man that's good to know and a good sign lol I was just worried because of the size lift and my tire size, but since yours are wider and you had no issues with it I shouldn't have any issues

It was real easy to remove, all 10 mm hexagon head screws if I remember correctly!

Awesome, thanks! I'll probably get to that over the weekend.

I'll also plastidip my badges so I can get that black on black look :D

How long does it take on average? I need to know so that I can accommodate enough time throughout the day for this particular project.

Let's say, for setting up the papers, taping them down, and then spraying at least half a dozen coats, and then waiting for it to try, and then removing the excess plastidip. And this if for the V6 on the tailgate, SR5 and Tacoma on the sides. How long would this process take total?

I'm assuming I should only need one can? I might get two since it's only around $6.

I actually removed the V6 Badge, sanded, and painted it with Krylon MAXX Satin Black.
I am very leery of painting (or dipping) anything that is still attached to the truck...

I would get 2 cans to be safe for sure though, I have gone through almost a whole can (about 1/3 left) between the grille trim, front Toyota badge, and V6 emblem.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
Ordering mine soon... Prolly wait till the national back order is resolved, and then I think the price will come down. I saw one place yesterday asking $550, and have heard of other places asking $350. For $200, I can be patient. But it looks AWSOME on the black sport.

Your trucks stance looks great with the rake you have in it. 1st one I have seen with rake. If I had the money I would be happy just to add rake to mine. Makes it easier to see over the Cadillac hood!
