    So the Hawks go into their bye 3-1. With a typical early frustrating loss to the Rams. Honestly, I'm shocked they're 3-1 and not 2-2 or 1-3. They are beat up big time, injuries all over.

    Carolina is crashing back down to earth 1-3.

    Niner's stink. Even with a two touchdown lead I was fully confident the Niners would choke, and they didn't let me down. Gabbert looks paranoid to stay in the pocket. His short toss game and High School running is going nowhere. The only thing missing is a high pitched scream when he's being rushed. The defense? bad news. These guys just cannot play 4 quarters of football. It's highly unlikely Yorkie will sell the team, so the next best thing would be firing Baalke.

    It's gonna be a long season. There was no reason to believe they were going to have any chance at winning more than 4 games. It's still possible. But more likely they get a pretty high draft choice. Not that Baalke would know what to do with it.
