Look what popped up on my local craigslist the other night. I literally jumped out of the bed at 11pm scared the crap out of my wife. Prestine condition. No more Google guessing and Forum searching! If you have a 2000 taco and have a question, hit me up. I'll try and find it. 20161003_151540.jpg 20161003_151604.jpg 20161003_151641.jpg

Congrats! Having factory service manuals is super handy, isn't it? I get 'em for every vehicle we own.

If you think 79-95 Pickup and 1st gen Tacoma FSMs hurt to collect, check out the prices for 2nd gen. A new set of printed books from Toyota is $1K.

They were asking $5. But I had a 20 so just gave it to them.

Awesome price. I guess I lucked out as well. I literally paid the same price for the exact same set a few months ago off CL as well.

You gotta wonder if they'd never thought of just punching it into an eBay search to check.

The prices for each year of the 2nd generation seem to go up on the used market, too, because they printed fewer and fewer until 2011, which is the last year printed manuals are available for most Toyotas, at least Tacoma and Land Cruiser I know. Honestly having them electronically is fine, maybe better, because it's easier to search and just print out the hard copy of the section if you really need it.

Yea I have no clue. My wife couldn't understand why I got so excited but to not be at the mercy of Google for torques and tolerances....she will never understand.
