Wow, I love camping on the Baja of Cali, I've been on the pacific Side, just south of Ensenada. But your trip is to the max, jealous! Thanks for the info/share.

Agree with you that it is more of an issue if you don't live in the Southwest. However, there is a huge amount of Canadians who go to Baja... helps when your country closes for three months each winter, eh?

went camping at Seven Oaks Resort in SB Mountains this past weekend. Sleeping under the softopper is perfect for my son and I. Dropped down to upper 30s and we were fine with sleeping bags and a down comforter on top. Love this setup just for the two of us.

Camping is one of the main reasons I bought a truck. I don't have a camper and I don't really have a "setup," just throw everything in the bed and tie stuff down that needs to be tied down. Pitch the tent, setup the grill and cooler, then go hiking or fishing or trail riding. One time I slept in a sleeping bag in the bed because my girlfriend's kid wet himself (and us) on the big air mattress. So we left him in the tent by himself while we slept in the back of the truck LOL, plus he was 9 at the time, he'll be fine.

You mean camping in the vette you have as your avatar isn't too convenient?
    :boink:

Same reason I got my truck. I live in Arizona and there is shittons of camping around this state and unless I want to go to crowded campgrounds I NEED to get off the beaten path.
I've already gone places and seen things since I got my truck only some short months ago that I would never had been able to witness without it. I'm really enjoying having it!

The taco and my youngest of two daughters up at Christopher Creek, AZ two weeks ago:
