Such a terrible death too, even the bad guys get a better death. It's like they could care less that he's gone and just wrote him out to end the audience's suffering.

 

A stand in could have done it. So forgetable.

 

You know, I can't help but wonder if he's really dead (ala Glenn). The flashback scene went along with the story they were telling. What if they were still lying. Of course, I haven't watched Talking Dead yet, so he could have been one of the mystery guests.

So that was 2 great hours of television. I would say I bet next season continues that BUT I remembered season 1 ended with 2 good eps too then it tanked for a bit this season, so I will just expect that instead and maybe be surprised...

Badass Travis is amazing. Definitely what this show has been missing. I will say I don't like Chris's death. Off screen deaths don't work in this universe and I know we got the flash back story but I feel like we were teased without actually seeing the body. I would've rather seen Travis go to the place they said he died and find him ala Daryl and his bro and then have to put him down himself...

1 BS moment. They find a wallet on the guy at the grocery which has an address and they manage to go straight to the colonia. I don't know about y'all but you can give me your address, I'll google it, read a map, use my gps, and I'll still get lost. No f'n way you find an address in another country without any sort of help and go straight to it...come on...

I think they passed that point around the time the 2nd half of this season started. I remember we had a similar conversation then and the timing had aligned...

 

That was a pretty good finale. I finally got around to watching it. On Sunday I watched the Westworld premiere instead.

I think every fan is glad that Chris is dead. I think he was the most hated character in the entire TWD universe. :lol: Carl didn't even get that much hate! So that says a lot of how much of a douche Chris was in the show. Actually, I think Lori was pretty much hated to that extent universally too.

Man, Travis just really flipped the script on his outlook now. The guy beat two men to death with his bare hands, and ends up being responsible for Oscar's death. That was actually kind of sad as the guy was just trying to stop the conflict, and ends up a casualty of it all. The surprise kill for me was Alicia stabbing Oscar's brother in the heart! I didn't expect that and actually thought Travis was going to be killed off the series in that scene.

Unser from SOA! Ha, I am glad to see this guy on the show. I never even knew he got cast to play a character on FTWD. I anticipate that he will have a larger role and may be the "good guy" in that border patrol militia. I bet at some point, the crew reunites at that military facility, but once it gets eventually overrun he escapes with them and adds to their group. Next season should be interesting as it looks like we may get the perspective from the military's point of view. That is something that we all wanted to see initially in season 1, so I am glad we will get it next season.
