    Sweet, are you running 37?

What kind of gas mileage do you get on a full tank? In town driving verses traveling to hunting ground?

If you've got a 4.0 2nd gen, I'm grabbing about 13 on the trails, 14 on the hwy romping at normal speeds, at about 75. That's 260miles a tank on 35s, and 3.73 gearing, in case anyone is wondering.

37 with 5.29 should range you about 10~14 miles per gallon. Depends on vehicle weight.

Bchengy, how many gallon is your 2nd gen tank?

Stock it's 21 gallons, speedo is 5mph faster, every 175 miles I gain 20, that puts me at 195.

Tested my all highway miles today, rolling mostly flat roads, about 65-75mph for a straight 200 miles, got 14.7miles per gallon on unleaded Chevron 87 octane. Fueled at same Chevron and topped it off three clicks everytime.

Gross weight is 4900#, 2700#front axles, and 2200# in the rear without driver, standard weight unloaded with armor.
This whole week I've been carrying 2 cases of water, at least 6 firearms, icechest, a tote full of kitchen and camp gear, chainsaw, along with 10 extra gallons of fuel, full set of tools, two air compressors, Hilift, Shovel, 33" spare and such, I'd estimated it at 5800# with two adults and these are the results of my mpg, running truck for hunting non stop since sunday. Logically speaking I should get 270 miles a tank, but I don't like running under a quarter tank (about 230 miles) due to sucking debris and lack of cooling to the fuel pump.

    Stock tire size is 265 65 17 = 30.6" 10.4"
    New tire size is 315 70 17 = 34.4" 12.4"
    30.6/34.4=88.9
1-0.889=.11= 11% off of speedo and actual mileage.
    Speedo shows 175 miles, 175x11%=19.2
175+19.2= roundabouts 195miles divided by gallons is 13.2, that's at 14.7 miles per gallon

If they still make them in that size, I'd jump all over it. Now there's only the molested ones left. Haha
