    It doesn't come with new gears. But because the ARB replaces the entire carrier....you probably can't re-use your original gears because they won't fit. The gears get bolted directly onto the ARB carrier. How the carrier fits in the differential will determine the total thickness and size of the gearset (so to speak).

    There are other locker and traction device options out there....The ARB is just the best for both on-road and offroad drivign characteristics. It's just so damn expensive after its all said and done.

    But believe me.... that first time you start driving up a hill climb and you start loosing traction half-way up the hill... You're sitting there with all 4 wheels turning (in your case, only 2)..... Reach down, engage that locker without even stopping. Wheels still turning away - that locker engages almost immediately while you're still on the gas. It grabs hold and you get moving again. It's the most awesome thing!!!
