I did get some jealous eyes from a dude in a new Raptor on the way in to work. Bet he had buyers remorse for buying the Ford after seeing my beauty rolling down 315 dressed in brown fun.

17 TRD PRO stopped by work and it caused a delay in Steve and I'd work production as we were drooling at it.

Dang, if only I didn't get a shit picture of it. :bananadead:

I like how you call it trailer road because that is what I call it and I know EXACTLY where your talking about. There are TONS of trails very close to that area and more another 10 or so miles south around Wills Creek area. Easily my favorite spot to spend a day tooling around in the woods on trails and nothing too difficult other than muddy hills if it rains.

Everyone always bails on me when I head down that way. I'd like to explore some of the other trails, but don't want to end up stuck either with no winch or cell service

Oh yeah @BDub and @i_cappi it was fun, I was glad to be of service. Lol one of you has to ride with me one day there because I have lots of fun and push the Taco to its limits and beyond.
Anyone ever consider camping there for a weekend because I never have but I want to one of these days but not when it's hot I'd rather camp in the colder temps.

There is only a couple of trails that get iffy but for the most part its just tree branch scratches you have to worry about, that area is 90% the culprit of why my truck is so scratched up, but there have been other times where I have gone down 4-wheeler trails in my truck so that didn't help either. A couple of guys rode with me down the infamous "beaver trail" as I named it, it's stupid overgrown all the time but not difficult.
There are other trails in the area where a HUGE tree blocked the road so we actually went around it driving over saplings and whatever else was in the way.
Maybe I am not the best person to lead a group around? :notsure:
However once my truck is back in service I'll be happy to explore with you or anyone else who wants to. I've got my winch, a few straps, multiple snatch blocks, hi-lift jack, pretty much anything you'd want to recover a truck if your with someone or alone, although I try not to go alone anymore because of possible mechanical failures and I'm more likely to try stuff if I am not by myself.

Ugh beaver trail....the tough part about the trail is the branches I think....I wish we could go through and spend a day cleaning shit up, the problem I see with that is all the idiots will all come out of the word-work and start running trails and ultimately ruin the location.

Yep I agree, I have only seen one other truck out there riding trails alone, and a small group of jeeps I showed a couple of the obvious trails in the area because it was their first time out there, one of which took beaver trail 2 feet at a time because he was getting out and clearing branches because he didn't want to scratch his jeep, but he did want to try out his new winch that was all nice and shiny.
I actually have to give credit to @Aussiek2000 for telling me about the "trailer road" location on here many moons ago on here, I spent a couple of weeks exploring that area in every direction, east is nothing, west isn't much, north is good, south is excellent.
That area will for sure be on my list of places to ride for a group meeting, obviously some trails will have to be optional because I'm not out there to tear up your trucks, only mine.
Let's start getting some input on when would people like to have a group meet up and ride some easy trails?
