Yup, if it rains bad enough my parking lot floods bad, and im the closet to the shop if something happens, ive had to pull stuff off the floor before, tend to leaks. move the server out, I love my guys but there useless when it comes to that kind of stuff. And that place puts food on the table, Plus not going to make my wife and kids be home without me during it

 

Most projections have it skirting the obx and just giving us a "rain event" but it just depends on how much of an "event" it is I suppose. Hope it works out for ya.

 

Man ill be watching to forecast till Thursday morning, if i back out ill give it to you, no refunds this year.

 

And im only five minutes from the beach too

My brother and I road tripped the taco out there earlier this summer. Beautiful country out there. Do wish garden of the gods wouldn't have been swamped in tourists, but we were there adding to the masses, so can't complain too much. We headed to the hills after co springs, and hit some 14ers.

Any of you guys using a Tablet with some sort of GPS app for navigational purposes when out an about where service is limited? Starting to plan something for when I camp in Colorado, and service is pretty much a zero.

 

Osmand worked for us in Kentucky.

 

Just got to finish some stuff on the truck tomorrow and Wednesday. Give my girl a wash and I'll be ready. Went to Bragg today and got my camping gear from my office. So I'm ready.

What I'm looking for, or checking if you guys have a set up like this, is if the samsung tablets GPS receiver is powerful enough to work in remote areas?
I have no problem downloading a $30 app like Gaia gps, or back country navigator. I just want to get feedback as how the GPS receivers work in the tablets when in more remote locations.

 

Oh, @SGTCap and I were using Dual GPS units 150 and 160. Stock phone gps is probably usable but we wanted to have extra satellites that stock phone GPS doesn't pick up.
