Yeah I know what you mean.. my original plan before I cut the brackets was to use all 2 bolts on too and bottom, but the awning didn't fit and I didn't have longer brackets so this is what I ended up with.. it's plenty strong though so I'm not too worried

Yeah like most said definitely 3" with 35's or even 285's. LCG is the key for offroading if you ask a lot of people.

I have a favor to ask you. I have the same topper as you. I have a different roof rack mounted than you. I don't think I can use the existing rails for the Prinsu roof rack. Can you measure the mounts or railing to where the rood rack is mounted too? I would appreciate that. I will have to remove the old rack and fill the holes to mount that rack.

No worries, i ordered them through JEGS.com, they should still carry them but I'm not completely sure. I also ordered the color matched "beadlocks" through them as well

Mine measure 42 inches apart, but the feet that hold the rack on are adjustable so if yours are closer, the rack would still work. Mine seem to be at its furthest distance apart so if my tracker were wider, the feet wouldn't work

 

Some updates.. Picked up a set of skids from a local member (@nj636). IFS skid, trans skid, and t-case skid. I proceeded to power wash them and clean them up the best I could, then prepped them for a fresh coat of bedliner. Decided to through a couple coats of blue on the IFS skid to see how it looks and I'm kinda digging it so it'll be blue for now

Gonna put the IFS skid on tomorrow after i FINALLY remove my sway bar. Then gonna get my exhaust rerouted so i can bolt up the other skids! Sliders are going on soon as well!

Holy shit the sway bar removal sucked. just about every bolt was seized up, but its out.. and unless i buy new end links, its out for good because i gave up fighting them and cut them out.

when i took mine off my 2010 i had the biggest pain because doing it by myself couldn't thread it out. Ended up taking off the stock front skid and supports and took it right through the front.

you're going to notice how differently it rides, corning it will lean a bit more, but as long as you don't drive it like a race car you should be fine. I really noticed it on long off/on ramps on the highway. Other then that it seemed to ride a little better over bumps, and offroad it felt a lot better, truck wasn't so "tippy" feeling going over stuff
