I agree, I think the scoop is not as pronounced if you put black on it...unless that is what you are going for.

Bueller? Bueller? Surely someone has found out this part number by now?

I dont really like how Toyota did the vinyl. I wish they would have done it more like how we used to on our Evos/STIs

I'm confused. Did you paint or add a sticker to the TRD on the back of it? I thought it only came with the gun metal color right there. Either way looks great!

There is a member on here that sells that as a vinyl insert that you stick inside the TRD letters on the knob.

Awesome. Thanks for the quick reply. Ordered my knob, tail lights and fogs today. Have a decent guy in the parts dept at the local dealer who has been pretty good at working with me finding parts. I'm trying to get him involved on this site and work out something where he can offer some decent deals.

I agree very close 50/50 and maybe just leave the scoop inferno to keep things simpler.

That said-- I think the TRD PRO hood mask is shorter??? Think this was covered somehwere and looks better with the scoop black so that'd be my vote but it's so close.

sorry I couldn't find a better pic but I like this look the best-------shorter points forward

Just got off the phone with the Parts Dept at Conicelli (Partznet.com) as the ETA on the TRD Pro tails was supposed to be today. The RIGHT tails are in as of this weekend--however Toyota pushed the ETA back on the LEFT tails to 10/9/16. :angrygirl: *EDIT, I ordered the set 9/6/16

For those who have already installed the Pro grille, what tools are required? My dealer is throwing in the grille and I plan on installing it before I drive off the lot so I'll need to take the tools with me. :yay:

Just Phillips head #1 and #2 and any smaller flathead screwdrivers.
Use the #2 to remove the two bolts on top of the grille, then the flathead to pop up multiple black clips on top and bottom of the grille. Once the grille is out, remove the old insert with the #1 Phillips head. New grille goes on with just clips.

So to remove, you say there are clips along the bottom, are they the same as the two on top that you have to pop out with a flathead? Or are they tabs on the bottom?

I watched a YouTube vid and it looked like the guy just reached down, nothing in his hand, and did something, then sorta pulled one side slightly then the other side to break it loose.

I'd bring a towel/blanket, I'm guessing you'll be using your new trucks tailgate as your work table, so you can lay down the stock grille and remove the bezel & grille.

I'm sure you don't want to scratch up your new grille or surround!

Perfect! Thanks! From watching that vid, he did nothing on the bottom, no tabs/clips on the bottom when removing the entire shroud/Grille.

On a difficulty scale of 1-5 this is a 1 for sure. Easy peasy! Can't take more than 20 minutes and that's if you're taking your time!

Love that Pro Grille, mine should be here Friday!!! All I need now is my Truck!

    Thanks for posting.
