I hit 355 after CoE. Sigil needed completed and tge update said sigil rewards were good. Both pieces were 357 and it was enough to pop my avg up.

That damn 350 ghost tho...

 

Man... I'm telling you. For you guys that are having trouble leveling up The Archon's Forge is by far the easiest way to level up. You saw in the video I posted the very first run I got a class item that was higher level than what I was wearing. Took less than 5 mins. Add to that all the armor and weapons that drop out of there. The Not Forgotten Sniper is still my go to sniper. So much easier than running strikes and "hoping" to pick up a skeleton key. Level the way you want but if you want to level fast do the Archon's Forge simple as that.

 

IB tonight and the next week, Im going to grin and bare it as best i can for the rewards.

Hopefully team supremecy isnt a clusterfuck and we keep low LLs on our team to avoid the career Destiny players.

 

Hand Cannons, Pulse Rifles, The Khvostov in full auto 900 RPM (or Doctrine of Passing if you have it), Shotguns, and Sidearms. Forget sniping. It will be a fast paced game with shotgun titan rushers so be prepared to be pissed lol.

 

Im a Titan. I cant play that way, its just not my style.

I messed with the Kvostov and full auto 900 wasnt that good for my style. I was going to try burst@900 and see how it acts as a pulse rifle.

I really was thinking defender with the supressor grenades and memory of felwinter. That way i can spam supressor grenades to stop charging titans and supers.

As for loadout.

Mida, Kvostov, Hawksaw or Hung Jury primary
I would typically run TYS cause I scrapped my shotty. I can wait for that IB shotun or buy the Dead Orbit one if I need to.
As for heavy it can be the Ruin Wake or Gjally. I never seem to get heavy ammo so i need to rely on primary and secondary

Just something totally different and more of a come at me bro build relying on supression to gain the upper hand.

 

Judging by your playstyle you don't have a choice but to learn to be a Titan rusher with shoulder charge and fist of havoc.

The Mida is a great weapon but not for this game type since everything will be up close and personal and the Mida just can not pull off enough shots going against someone that is using a high rate of fire auto or hand cannon. You will get your ass handed to you almost every time I promise. You can forget sniping as you will never be able to pick up a crest even if you get the kill. The Khvostov at 450 (or better 900) will serve you well as it's the closest thing to a doctrine. 900 RPM is what you would want since you will be close to your target. The Monte Carlo is great at close range battles provided you get headshots and the first round off and don't miss any of your shots. Burst fire on the Khvostov will get you killed in a fucking instant since everyone will be using full auto and you just won't be able to compensate for that. Pick up a good shotgun from a vendor and level it up to as high as you can. I got the rank 14 out of the book and got it at 380. It's not the best shotgun but not the worst either. I can make it work.

If you don't play that way expect to be disappointed in IB. And I can not emphasize this enough.... DO NOT go in with a fireteam of less than six. If you go in by yourself you will most likely loss as it seems randoms don't know what the fuck they are doing and just want to get kills and fuck picking up the crests.


*EDIT* Out of all the weapons you listed you were going to use the Hawksaw is your only viable weapon unless you go 900 RPM on the Khvostov. Hung Jury fires way to slow for this game mode.

 

Yea, i was really hoping id have a trespasser by now. But oh well, ill figure it out and i was basing this build on a team of 4 or 5 if we can get it.

What will end up happening is ill get frustrated and play a few games every day just enough to get some decent rewards.

 

Jamie and I are neck and neck. I am just a hair away from 358 with some 360/361 gear already equipped. The struggle is real.

Archons Forge yielded the same result. Tried running, walking, dance breaks. Nada.

 

If you're rolling in strange coins buy heavy from xur, every 90-100 donations get you a faction ranking. Run 320 sepiks perfected because it's the easiest solo, equip all your highest gear and save legendaries until you are 365 or closest to it, also pop your 3oC. Then you should be stuck with needing a ghost or artifact. Do tier 3 court and rank up Eris for a higher artifact, raid or faction package for ghost.

Luckily IB starts today so everyone should be picking up a few light levels this week at least.

That's he way I did it anyway., I didn't have a lot of exotics saved.

 

I spent 3/4 of my coins on the Mida and Armamentarium last week. Im all out as of yesterday but already in the 40s for this week in the stash.

 

Exotic faction item? Ive never seen an exotic there

 

I'm sitting on 75 strange coins right now with four exotic primaries, four exotic heavy, and one exotic special. I should be around 80-90 at the rate I'm going by Friday. I sometimes buy gear I don't need, level up the perks, and dismantle it. In case you didn't know, dismantling exotic gear will only give you a single shard, dismantle gear with all perks enabled and you get two shards.

 

You dont need to select them and spend resources, just unlock them all and dismantle

 

Oh nice, i woukd be really close if I didnt switch to FWC twice.

I think im 21 dead orbit.
