I actually don't work in Customer Service, so those emails weren't from me directly. My apologies! I only became aware of this issue about an hour ago. Regardless, the individual with issues will be taken care of directly.

Keep reading. Engine and truck was totally fine with the ultra aggressive bay wash after the TRS lights were removed.

    Hopefully so!

Let's all put down the pitchforks while looming and watching awkwardly from the sidelines.

We have a very well established reputation on here among many users (1,000+), so I won't let that go to waste with one specific install! :)

OP posted Sept. 9 and is your first tag to this thread regarding OPs $14k bill from your products being at fault for his issues. From then until you posted here, you posted twice regarding your group buy and twice about your open house.

TRSJimmy posted twice, also about the group buy, and he was also tagged to this thread on with the first being on Sept. 14.

Email was only brought up because you insinuated that if the OP had emailed, or done anything to contact TRS except post on the forum about his issues, then his problems would've been handled. I showed you he did email and was told to pound sand by customer support.

Your presence here now, after nearly a full month since OP first tagged both of the TRS reps on the forum and only after a second member has had the same issues, with the excuses of "he didn't email or call," and now the "I'm not in customer service," now that you know he did email.. is pretty fucking lame!

Dude gets hit with a wave, gets sand/debris in his fuel system, and headlights caused the issue? Lulz. What? Headlights do not short out an ECU. There are these cool things called fuses that prevent that.

only after the thread title changes do they pop in and now willing to help out the OP..before they told him nope wasnt going to help and try to charge for another set of lights. Goes to show you how awesome they are. Funny my LED lights I got on ebay that are basically the same thing everyone else uses being made in China and someone slaps a name on it and sells it for more money. I washed my engine bay on sat and they got all wet from giving it a good detail and had no issues. Hmmm my 2 sets of lights that cost me $80 for both sets have zero issues but fancy pants expensive overpriced lights disable a truck when wet.

I realize that, but you really can't make any assumptions unless you read the whole thread and have all the info.

I have been dealing with TRS for a few years, a simple e-mail or phone call will solve almost any issue. It's that simple. If the OP didn't do that, part of the fault falls on him for communication concerns if that is what all the back and forth is about. I'm not reading 45 pages of armchair diagnosis and opinion to find out every detail. Cliffs? :luvya:
