First and second pic do not match. First pic trailer is pitched towards the passenger side. Second pic it's pitched towards the driver and the wheels are turned left. Makes no sense. And did traffic switch lanes to opposite side of the road?

Road looks to be wet. If it was a first rain it can be extremely treacherous towing. My guess is he went to brake for the turn and the trailer pushed his truck around due to the slick surface and lack of bed weight. I've had it happen myself but fortunately caught it before jackknifing.
