E rated tires are heavier and stiffer more rotational mass, more challenging to keep balanced, greater likelihood of road noise, ride rougher, dog down the motor /trans more which already sucks. Also will negatively impact fuel econ. Hard to quantify these impacts as it will be different for everyone's experiences and is subjective.

E rated tires are way overkill for this class of truck.

agreed but once you get into 275+ even most 265 are usually E rated.
Seems most tires once you get up to 32"+ its all E rated.

Yes because proportionately those larger size tires are meant for and designed for heavier-duty vehicles

you'd think tire makers would start to realize that some guys are only going to that size because they want the ground clearance. Like both jeeps tacos FJs and 4Runners.
None really need an E rated but thats the only option.

Wait what the fuck am I saying? Then they would need to sell them cheaper why the fuck would they do that...

Because I would have impulse purchases them months ago. The only reason I haven't picked up BFG KO2s is because they dont have C rated tires for 16 inch wheels.

    meh
It would be nice if they did make them C rated
but why would they start making two of the same one in C rated and one in E rated?
Can make more money just selling E rated because most will just cave and buy the E rated.

Awesome! C rated it is. Now I just have to decide if I want the fuel beast 18" with the 275/65/18 or go with the trd pro 17" with 265/70/17. Both look great IMO.

Thank you all so much. I'll try and post some pics of her when she finally shows up. She is a week out from the factory and I've been waiting for 5 months since I ordered her. Getting excited!!

if you're going to be doing a decent amount of off road and will actually be airing down, the 17s are probably better. You'll get a better footprint with the 17 when down on PSI
