Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

before we homed in on Tacomas, we were looking at 3/4 ton trucks like Chevy 2500HD, with an eye towards a slide-in camper. test drove enough of them to realize I don't want something that big.

also discovered the newer trucks are nearly impossible to do any self-service on. even changing the spark plugs requires lifting the whole cab off the chassis.

 

I just saw what must be a 2016/2017 Chevy Silverado on my way to drop off the kiddo and I must say it looked pretty good! My Coworker has a 2015 F150 and that giant front grill puts Tundras/Third Gens to shame lol

 

You can take my beater for a week or two in trade.

$5 says after 2 weeks of that your truck will feel like a rocket ship.

I use my gears a lot on hills also, so when I use the breaks they seem to work pretty well. I have done nothing to mine and they stop my ridiculously loaded beast

the company that makes those for them and stamps their name on them makes that style.

 

I hate the looks of those giant grills and big boxy hoods on the new F150's. the 2001-ish F150 was the same size truck, yet looked smaller, more streamlined, had better visibility.

 

since its national taco day, and taco tuesday..... wheres the best place to go get some good tacos around concord/ish area?
