You will have to post current mpg and and new mpg after re-gear. I am interested in results. What do gears cost? my guess is that with your current set up, the gears could pay for themselves, quickly.

It'll be about $2500 for just gears and install. But I'm adding a front locker also.

Just got 303 miles to the light, 17.1 mpg for this tank, about as good as its been lately. Will see if new plugs make a difference after this weekend.

I feel like the village idiot with my studying.

I do not care what this new company tells me- I refuse to sell their product to my current surgeons/hospitals if it is not the best option for their patients.

Rant over. :censored: I need to get in my truck and drive around. :burnrubber:

If you're constantly going in and out of OD while going up an incline, possibly. Going down the freeway...no.

If you're towing or driving up a mountain, sure take it out of OD into 4. With all the extra gas you'll be using, you would've been able to afford a couple spare transmissions.
