Yeah, that's a pathetic refresh rate, and you'll regret only having 3 HDMI ports, unless you have a nice receiver.

For that price, you can get a 50" plasma that will have much, much, much better picture quality.

You guys serious? I highly doubt you'd be able to tell the difference between 60 and 120hz unless you had them side by side.

Also, what do you guys need more than 3 HDMI ports for? DVD, Cable/SAT, Game Console...what else? Buy a good receiver (like you should have done from the start) and be done with it.

PS: 120hz refresh rate is SOOOOO last year lol. Took this at CES this year.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
The screen refreshes 60 times per second.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. Side by side you can tell but I'd HIGHLY doubt you'd ever notice at home. I have a Toshiba 42" LCD 1080p TV that doubles as my monitor. It was like $500 a year ago and I couldn't be happier.

Yeah go buy a plasma and have it go out on you in a few years. They hardly even sell those in CO. I have a 40 inch sony bravia lcd and its a great tv. And why in the hell would you need more than 3 HDMI cables if you need more than that you A. either need to get a girl friend or B. some hobbies that involve the out doors. I have 1 out of my 3 in use and its my PS3 so video games and bluray.

At 60 hertz on a 50" plus LCD panel while watching a basketball game the average joe would probably see some motion blur. This is the issue with large LCDs. For years you couldn't find a LCD panel past 40" due to the pixels and the refresh rate.

More HDMI inputs the better but three would be probably be sufficient for me. I use a HD cable box, DVD player, and HTPC. I would use a separate audio out to a receiver especially if the TV had a SPDIF out. I would like another HDMI out of my cable box to feed my projector when I upgrade. My current projector just has component inputs.

Plasmas have so many myths it's unbelievable. LCDs and Plasmas have the same reliability.

3 HDMI ports is fine for most. I have one of the Sony's with 3 HDMI & it is fine. The refresh rate doesn't matter much for tv & movie watching. I only use 2 of the HDMI ports at the moment. 1 for my PC & the other for my PS3.
