Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

Since we were on the talk of big brake kits, anyone interested in the TRD 332mm 00-06 Tundra BBK I just picked up? Just really looked over the rotors and the guy I bought them from decided a hammer was a wonderful tool to use to remove them. So now I have a bunch of dents in the rotors rendering them useless. Right now I can't put the money needed to make the kit complete, but figured I'd check here before posting them on the forums.

 

Who owns the red lifted double cab tacoma with a big led light bar on the roof that I saw getting off at College in SR around 2:50?

 

my first truck was a ford as well, hints the reason i will never buy anther one. i do love the old school broncos but they have become classics and cost to much now days.

I just miss the feel of it it was shit but in the best way possible
it was never working but it is whet helped me learn to work on engines and also appreciate the value of a new car
also the fact that I worked my ass off for that truck when was 15 before I started working to afford the taco
that truck was amazing
and then I made the stupid decision to sell it
that is the one thing I regret (so far) is selling that truck

 

I think I finally have enough light, but I'm also gonna finish my projector retrofit just to be sure

 

That is what I mean, and the supers are legendary. I make mine similar, is a Taco I have only found off a side street in Rosarito.

When are you gonna put painters tape on the rest of that truck?

 

Prob next week, my order from Automotive Touchup showed up last week. So I'm gonna do the fronts and see how they turn out, if I'm happy with it I'll get more paint and do the rears.

 

Rattle cans or what?

 

Yeah color match. Staring at compressors that have enough CFM to run a paint gun properly convinced me to try rattle can again. I did it on the Prerunner and it turned out fine, I just didn't keep up on the waxing and it dulled up.

 

Although this one had me scratching my chin and staring at paint guns as well...

 

Why would you even consider a gas compressor to paint with?

 

Let's go O's, would be cool to have an all orange and black World Series

You could get a compressor that would actually be able to keep up for almost the same price as the initial cost of a gas one.
