    Call Marlin and order over the phone with 4.7 gears already in it. Wait 4-6 weeks for build time. You'll get a nice red powdered coated case with adapter plates ready to drop in.

    Thanks for the input, I knew there were a few people that knew more about Brian's setup. Inchworm is great and readily available it seems.

    I've also heard the same, maybe I'll hold off a tad bit more to see if the redesign surfaces and production starts moving faster.

    Where did you steal the 4spd from? Any combo 4spd I build is north of $3k. Assumed it had to of been the 2spd which doesn't seem ideal in either of our eyes :p

    that's correct i paid 3,800 for it with the cable shifters and flanges, but at the $2,800 it costs to put any of the other options in there plus all the time you got into trying to find it at 1/4 ton strength im happy with the 1 ton shit i paid extra for.

    no problem. As far as strength goes this thing is stupid strong and has tons of gearing options. NwiTACO entered into a tractor pull and lanched to hard resulting in a broken FJ tcase input shaft, i made the same mistake the first time i pulled but all that i did was hop and and spin tires.

    I've been waiting for my tacobox from Marlin (through Wyatt at RST) for a little over a month. Went to the offroad expo here in socal this last weekend and talked to Marlin himself and Mike, very nice people. Wyatt told me he has like 12 orders with Marlin right now and they all got kinda lost in limbo because the sales rep he always dealt with just up and left one day. They now have another guy in there that used to be there and he's getting things taken care of.

    So either way I've got another 10 months to go :D

    Marlin is always busy. I live local and even when I walk in they are busy on phone and ect ect. But their stuff are the real deal and its worth the wait! I wouldnt recommend anything else for anyone if your looking for drive-train parts! Both my truck are dual cases and 4.7 MC cant go wrong!
