And Fort Collins PD is absolutely useless. I'm on the phone with them right now. Apparently shooting at some body in their kitchen is not a priority...

I absolutely cannot believe the FC PD does not care that somebody was shooting at my house and broke a window. They asked me what I would like them to do????
I said, isn't against the law to discharge a gun in the city limits?
They said yes.
I said, isn't it against the law to discharge a gun while drinking?
They said yes.
I said don't you think we have a problem here? not to mention the broken window and the broken fence as the fuckin drunk asshole tried to climb over to see for himself?
They said, we are kind of tied up and it may be awhile before we can get somebody over there..are you sure you don't want to talk to your neighbor about it first?

I said i did, broke fence, remember?

 

I know, it was just the attitude took me back a little. I called my brother after that, he's county, he said the same thing.

 

I cannot believe my neighbor hasn't even come over to apologize...
I mean, I caught him in the act, there were words exchanged. When he proceeded to break the fence, more words were exchanged, mostly from me. And yes, I was a dick about it.

 

Maybe tossing onto the end of the conversation with PD that "I think I'm going to return fire" then hang up would have changed their minds.

 

And get him arrested.
