    Hey TW,

so I'm kind of hitting the freak out button and feel like I'm getting myself WAY in over my head. If yall don't know, I'm getting married to the girl of my dreams and buying a house in the next 3 months. I'm not worried about the marriage part, but the house and making a house payment and keeping my job is causing me some stress.

God has seen fit to bless us with the opportunity to buy our first house that is everything we could want and more. But my job only lasts until the end of the summer unless I go back to school. I know 6 months or so is a long way off and many things can happen, but the future still looks kind of shaky for me and my future misses, I know we can't make it on just her salary. So If would please pray for me and the search for a new job in the near future I would greatly appreciate it.

This is the verse I'm claiming...

    Philippians 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

I know that God will provide for me and my wife to be, but I still can't help but stress out a little I don't want to let her and everyone around me down.

Thanks for reading this and your prayers if you see fit.

I'll be prayin for yall. Hope everything works out. Keep an eye out on your local job ads on craigslist and monster jobs. Start going back to school for night classes right now or whenever your not working while keeping your eye out on a job. That way when your job is up, you'll have a "head start" on your schooling, or hopefully have another job. I know that is way easier to say than do.

Another thing to consider if you don't find another job is looking into buying a really cheap starter home just until you get all your ducks in a row. Once it's payed off hopefully it will be worth more and you can sell it for profit to move into a home more fitting to you and your ol lady.

I'm no expert by any means... just trying to throw out some ideas that maybe you can build off of. Good luck with everything!

I'm all signed up for classes and this will be my last semester, then I will graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Justice studies. My hope was to go into Law Enforcement, but right now none of my local PD are hiring. I'm looking at getting in as a reserve officer, but it's unpaid. That's the reason my job is expiring, because I work for the Forest Service as a STEP student and as the name indicates you have to be a student. I really don't want to do any more school, just get into a career and start my life.

The house thing is kind of set, we are under contract for and it's going to finished in mid February. But if things fall through we will probably look for something cheaper.

Thank-you for the prayers and ideas, I will keep my eye out for CL and monster.

That is one of my favorite scriptures Taylor. We will keep your situation in our prayers.

Remember, listen carefully for God's direction, sometimes we here our own voice in our head speaking.

This is advice I give to myself constantly!

    Ok so a little update:

Still working at getting approval for the house. We have a closing date of Feb 5 and take possession on Feb 10th. But we are still not approved for the loan! However today was good, my work is now reflecting a full time status so that should get us in the green for final approval. While I still have my concerns, I feel that God is leading me down this path. I know that he would not give me more than I can handle, so I have to trust him and have Faith. Something that is hard to do at times because of the current economy and my future career. I really appreciate all of your prayers and support all the comments have helped me out and continue to do so. I will keep updating this as we get closer, there is still a ton of work to do and detail to iron out. I will just have a lot of weight off my shoulders.

Please continue to pray for my Fiance and I as we try to make our way down this road.

    more going on:

On Jan 26th I go in for physical testing for an Avondale PD position. If I pass the physical part, I'm invited to take the written and then I pass that I can go before the oral boards. This would be really good timing for a position with Avondale, because it's close to where my house may be (still waiting on approval of the loan). The only bad part is, I think I have done something to me knee and running is getting harder. I have to run 1.5 miles in 14:10 and does some push ups and sit-ups to pass. I am not a runner by any stretch of the imagination, but i have been going to the track every day for the last week and I have another week to go. Just would like some continued support and prayers for this upcoming challenge, this is what I want to do for my career so I'm willing to fight tooth and nail for it.

    Keep the faith!

This is what will temper you so that when your son goes through the same, you will have the look of confidence when you say, "It'll work out for the best - it always does."

Your current tests and trials will be replaced with other ones and you will be able to look back and say "Phew, I am so glad I didn't quit!" This stuff builds confidence and faith.

My prayers are with you and your fiance taylor. stay focused on him and He will guide your way. God never allows us to go through more than we can handle, though it doesn't seem like thatat times. He loves his children and wants to bless them. It's all in His will what we do through this life.

Thank-you all, I really need the support. I know I can do it, and I just have to push really hard. However, it still helps knowing others are out there praying for me :)
