Daniel...........i say stick with the 2 inch lift. drop brackets kinda suck, and im a fan of minimal lift/biggest tires you can fit. it will look alot better as well, and perform offroad a little better me thinks.

Ok cool Thanks man!! I think the 2" is what I'm gonna stick with, plus, its already sittin here just waitin to find it home on my truck if I ever get the thang back...I would have like some bigger tires, atleast the 33x12.50's but I think I got scared with everyone talkin about re-gearing and scrubbing...Re-gearing was the biggest thing for me cause I know that gets into more money and I don't have a clue what I'm doing on it...Anyone know any well priced upgraded shocks that I could throw on it to help the ride? Shocks need to be changed anyways so might as well get some good ones...

yeah, fit some 32's on there...you'll be fine.

for shocks........bilstein 5100's all the way around, or some ome's....they are good too. depending on the lift.....if you get new coils, they can help with some of the lift, or the 5100's, set them up a tad and use them with the lift you have.

    A few bolts are different.
Wooooo SAS that 88!!! you will automatically get around 4" of lift with the sas kit plus the added benefits of the solid axle offroad.

But yea like Will said, the 2" toytec will be much better then the 4" with the drop bracket. The way the first gen ifs works with the torsion bars the 4" is hell on steering geometry from what I've heard.

I wish I could do the SAS on it but wouldn't that really effect the rode drive since thats mostly what I do anyways?

Not if done correctly. I cant remember if i read, is this your DD? My SA toyota does great on the road, I drive it around town more then my 05. For 1984 technology it will cruise interstate 26 at 65mph with no troubles. The ifs will def. be a more plush ride though.

Can't keep up with you...you're everywhere...lol...so after asking you about the lights, someone that works with me gave me a set of Hella 500's...Are they any good or do you know? I'm bout to order a brush guard for my truck so I can stick em on... I found a cool website for a guy that makes custom Gauge plates so hopefully they can make one for my truck for the switch panel...check it out... http://www.gaugeplates.com

Ok hmm just got off the phone with the guy and he threw a curveball at me...super nice guy though...So I need 6 switches BUT he said the he could do an 8 switch pannel for the cubby right under the radio OR he could do 2, 4 switch pannels...one would go in the slot right above where the emergency brake is and the other would be in the same place on the other side of the steering wheel...which one would look better?

my slight OCD would lean towards the 2, 4 switch panels left and right of the steering wheel.

lol I'm thinking the same thing...I'd be nice with the LED blue lights which he said would be no problem...he said I could have it in 3 weeks so when I get my truck back Friday I'll look and make sure it'd look good there and probably go with that...he said $100 and $9 shipping...that a good price?
