    Hi All,

I'm looking to lift my 07 DCSB Sport 2 inches and was looking for advice on which brand/system would be best for fit and ride.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Best is super subjective. You could go with King for the "best" and most expensive, or you can go with really good on a budget. I've had 5100s set at 1.75" with stock coils and 5100s with 885 coils. The lift height is exactly the same. The 885s are a little softer than the preloaded stock coils - more sag when I put my winch on and a little more body roll on and off orad, as well as a little softer on the bumps. I think both ride great.

I should've been more specific on "best". Looking for best on budget with softer ride than rigid. Sounds like 5100s with 885 coils fits the bill. I use my taco 80% on pavement so softer ride is a bigger concern for me. Any other spacer fans out there? They seem to be the most budget friendly.

Many people out there run spacers without problems. Most struts are not designed for the change in suspension geometry spacers cause and can fail catastrophically as a result. Get your lift from coils, add good struts (5100s are really good for the price), be aware that lifting often brings on the front differential needle bearing vibe, and research coil height for your trucks body style.

My access cab got 2.5" of lift from 885 coils. A double cab will be around, or just under, 2".

Why do you need a lift? Looks? Off road issues to solve?

Whatever, just call Marie at Headstrong Offroad, tell her your gear and goals, give her your CC #, and install what she sends you.

Sorry I am new to this, but will having a 2-3" spacer lift on a 2WD have a vibration of any sort? I have a brand new OEM drive shaft replaced too if that helps with anything. Thanks!

There's no front driveline to vibrate, so you have that going for you... Lifting the rear an inch or two shouldn't cause any vibes.

See my link for a lift on the cheap spacer/AAL. It works well cause I still have very new suspension- shocks in particular. If you are due for some new shocks then look to the 5100 as a solution.
