personally i could never, but more power to you to save some rent money, but will you really save it or buy more trucks, mods, cars, mods, etc?

 

I'm planning on buying a house so the money will get saved haha. It's only for a year and if I wasn't going to save so much it wouldn't happen

 

now the question is where do you want to be and where do you want to buy a house?

my wife and i are saving as well, but we are pretty sure we do not want to buy a house in houston because we do not plan on staying here for the next 5-7 years and do not want to deal with the hassle of renting it out...

and where are you going to find a house with a 7 car garage and a 3/2 above it???? i have never seen one, though i would like to.

 

Not sure yet. If I find land somewhere I might pick it up and start building but I'm looking at Austin area, Houston area, and Rockwall.

I couldn't find anything I liked with a larger garage when I was shopping so I ended up buying a house with an oversized 2 car garage in a subdivision with no HOA. I have enough space and a gate going into my backyard to build another garage in the future(there's currently an RV pad there). The plan is another 2+ car garage with a lift. The driveway can hold 6 vehicles and the non paved driveway to the backyard holds @RedNeck D Casper right now with room for several more toys.

 

I drove one that looked identical to this for a few years in my late teens. 2 speed powerglide trans was awesome! 1966 Olds Delta 88
