BTW I read on another forum you can use the same stuff instead of mastic to.caulk the piping. It's pretty flexable.

Besides this stuff, is there anything else I need for the install? Or does everything come with the snorkel?

You don't need the butyl. I just put silicone at the pipe joints and it's fine.

    Mine doesn't whistle either

LOTS of wiring, dual battery setup, Solar charging system, with some random lights spread around here and there.
I used silicone for the connections and used some clack rtv for around the snorkle body and I get no noise from mine. Just FYI.

Yea that was fun, till I got stuck in a different spot and had water inside the truck. Stock intake was definitely underwater and it sat there for a few mins

Im confused by all if these fancy SCS pictars you took on the trail. I see all these other trucks that go off road and they have shiny tires and immaculate paint. Why does yours have dirt and scratches?

Because not wheeling your truck is like not having sex with your girlfriend so she is more appealing for the next guy :D
