This is in Wyoming, in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Not a bad spot!

Kind of. A bit further south than that, closer to Pinedale, but shhhhh, don't give away too many spots that aren't crowded.

Also, What part of Montana? We're from Bozeman.

Very cool! We've taken a bit of a leave of absence from Montana and moved to Colorado, and it makes me want to tear my hair out. We will be heading back to Montana soon.

I know this was a while back but what do you mean the fly doesn't cover well? I'm just curious because I love mine, never had an issue with the fly in any of the times I've used it. Several downpours and one night 3 in of snow!

Cool shot in the snow. We set it up, put on the fly and it was a foot up from the bottom of the tent all the way around. We like the fly to be closer to the ground. Also, we didn't like how there was no way to stake out the fly at the entrance to the tent. We just weren't happy with the fly. It's a shame because we loved the actual tent. But returning it was easy, REI is great. We had been using a Mountain Smith for over 12 years until the zippers stopped working, so we got another one. Gonna use at the Overland Expo next week, weather permitting.

Thats weird. Did you get the wrong fly or something?

Doesn't really matter i guess. Sucks that it didn't work out for you.

Did you just rig something up to get the pup in? My back is busted and I can't do the "just pick her up" thing. I want a RTT, but can't with my dog that I can figure out.

We had beagles that would go up a ladder just fine. Might take some training and/or a longer ladder.

We went to the Appalachian Rendezvous in Uwharrie last weekend. Had a blast! The weather was perfect, as was the company.

It's nice to only have to carry one spare tire.
