I added the backup camera and intermittent wipers to my 15 SR with convenience package. Now I am looking at those plugs where fog lights go and thinking about adding them.... If I am wired. Looking under the hood I see these two plugs (the yellow, one on each side that look like they end in a blank piece of plastic just like the back up camera. Anyone know if they are for fog lights or are they something else?

I believe those are the airbag sensors.

dont use/disconnect those yellow plugs, those are for your airbags. They're accelerometer sensors (correct me if i'm wrong on the type of sensor)

X2 Those are airbag sensors. Whatever you do do not touch them!

Ditto on the airbag sensors. The 2015 4cyl Tacomas did not come prewired for fog lights, as least mine did not.

Thanks, I figured they were not fog light wiring. Had a gut feeling they were something else entirely. I always ask before touching anything I am not sure of. Learned that looonnnnggg ago :)

Too poor to list anything interesting.
OP, they should be somewhere near your bumper, ziptied together if they're there.

They aren't there. Thought they might be since I was wired for a backup camera, but no such luck. I guess Toyota makes you work for intermittent wipers, lights and other things most take for granted in newer vehicles.

I see you're a 2.7. They're not prewired for them. You'll have to run the wiring for those yourself.

I didn't really want a 6 cylinder and the extra thousands you needed to spend to get those basic items
