And ruin the value of a car worth near a million dollars? Probably won't be happening any time soon.

I had a 1966 Ford Fairlane R code back in the early 80's with a 427 Tunnel Port , that was a monster .Only one other combo would have made that Fairlane better . that was a 427 SOHC motor !!!

At least get rid of the low riser cyl heads and replace it with High Riser cyl heads and then find a 427 sidewinder 4bbl intake . That was a very common 427 side oiler found in the cobras

I've seen a lot of factory original 427 side oiler cobras and majority was a high riser set up with the sidewinder intake or high riser dual 4bbl set up

you would seriously take a priceless survivor car (other than the paint) that's worth that much original and change it? like i said i love to be creative with cars either with paint or mechanically but not that

If it was mine, I wouldn't have even painted it. And the current owner is savvy enough about cars of this nature, he wouldn't change the first thing. A small tweak and it would cut hundreds of thousands off the value. Bone stock Cobras are scary fast the way they are.

The owner of the Cobra has a garage with 15 cars in it that have a cumulative value over 10 mil.... Better than money in the bank. Includes a couple Boss 429 'Stangs. (that I'd give my right arm for)

I rode around a few years ago in a built K Code 289 Cobra . That was an insane ride that had the tires black tracking on every gear change . Also the melted tennis shoes was fun also

Original 350 Cobras are worth more than original 500's now days. Fewer built.

i figured if he had 1 that nice there was a very good chance he had more. if he were just a guy with money that wanted a fsat car he probably would have bought a Ferarri.
