I know where 2 of them are at. I've been trying to buy one of them for a few years. Current owner wants more than I paid for my house.

That it was. I believe it will make tomorrow a lot easier. We will be able to go in with them and stay as long as we want.

In some ways....but with the Yenko, you could remove the stripes and have a real sleeper. They looked like the next door neighbors 6-banger econo-box Nova....Until you hit the go pedal. Next to the GTX I had, that Yenko was the best tire smoker I owned.

66 L79 Nova was always my dream car. I settled for a 66 with a 283 and factory air.

My 65 wagon ended up as a 350/TH350 combo. Fast enough to have fun in. ...

The L79 Chevy II was probably the quickest 1/4 mile car in street trim ever built. The car would launch like a freekin' rocket with 7.50X14 bias ply street tires. Mine had 10" slicks, which were as wide as you could go legally on that car in SS racing in the day.

The '67 Nova I had was awesome looking, but had a bit tamer engine (325hp 327) Black with black interior, all the SS trim, and very rare power disc brakes. Most parts stores back then didn't even list front brake parts for it they were so rare. I had to buy everything over the counter @ Chevy dealership. Chevy didn't put L79's in '67's. They all went in Vettes, Chevelles, and the all new Camaro.

I also have my eye on a '70 Cuda that was a Sox & Martin SS car, eventually their first successful Pro Stocker. It's a roller now, but would be well worth doing a full resto.
