i tried to change the stock bulb to led bulb on the center dome light on my 16 taco db. After i pulled my light out there is no voltage to the light sockets, i tried checking with the voltmeter and toggling the switch back and forth, but nothing. I checked the fuse box under the hood but every fuse looks good. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Also will toyotas warranty cover this if they need to replace anything?

Does it work when you put the stock bulb back in?

How did you check the fuses? Did you use a meter?

Put it back like you didn't touch it and take it to the dealer

So the warranty should cover it?

Put the stock bulb back in and run it by the dealer.

Personally I wouldn't mess with led's unless that's what came in it.

    Why the switch anyways?

Go buy one. It's worth it I think to have the dealer figure it out if isn't a fuse

Kinda assuming you haven't pulled the center console down yet. But it's held up there by the red clips.

I'd start by pulling it down, unplugging everything. Then plug it back in.

Second to that apparently there is a 50% chance your new led is installed backwards. Therefore toss in your original bulbs and start from the beginning.

Not there can't help more than that ATM.

Just curious, why did you opt for a led instead of the regular stock bulb?

Because one night I went out to the truck to grab something, reached to turn on the light but it was already on. My cheap Amazon leds are 1000x better. The back seat built didn't fit great but made it work

I have read a few things on TW that talk about people messing with lights and creating/finding other issues. Be careful with these things.
