Tell us about the RAV4. Certainly not a boring design...

That thing is really nice. 4 banger, front wheel drive. Sunroof, power back hatch, XM satellite radio. Back up cam, touch screen. Projector head lights. Put in weather tech mats for her.

    Runs and drives great.

Ok not all today but had a busy few days with the truck. Changed the oil and found a great way to catch the filter oil drips if you're too lazy to run a drain hose down next to the oil pan.
    IMG_4241-1.jpg

Then fell asleep at the wheel at 2:30am on the interstate doing about 50... I drifted to the left and "bumped" into the concrete divider wall briefly. Boy was I awake after that! Thankful that the truck only sustained very minor damage.
    IMG_4614.jpg

Gouged up both left wheels pretty bad
    IMG_4617-1.jpg

And gave both mud flaps a nice shave
    IMG_4615.jpg

And finally, went with some buddies up into the mountains for a night, got the truck just a little dirty...

is it lowered or just rocking small tires? my wife has the Limited and loves hers. But we both still prefer the pre-2012 body style. It was more rugged and outdoorsy

Finished my bumper in time for a camping trip Friday morning. Still need to weld on tabs to bolt the bedside to the bumper. Build the swingout so the tire comes out of the bed and the license plate and lights as well as back up camera can be permanently mounted. Then to finish the rear I need to do the exhaust tuck and the shackle flip.
Tomorrow after work I've got to change the oil, air filter, cabin filter and install amp and subwoofer and then I am ready to go. Bumper isn't perfect but it matches the truck pretty good I think.
License and light are just double side tapped on for now so nothing is permanent till the tire carrier gets added.

I am going to remake it from the y pipe back so I can build skids that tuck up higher! I have a flomasters and a resonator sitting here, hopefully they aren't too loud.
