Why we like wheeling with each other. Been doing it long enough we all bring enough to cover all the bases. In that situation each of us had at least one tool that was vital to the solution that the others didn't have.

Who needs a shop when you got a towel and tools with you.

 

UWS tool box, and some stuff is hanging on the MOLLE panels on the back of the seat covers. Plan on getting more MOLLE gear soon.

 

They can get really annoying. Especially when your trying to enjoy your lunch at work.

 

Got some new 31x10.5x15LT dynapro ATM tires today, got to love the tread depth! Lincoln penny almost disappears in the tread

Not the first time Frank has blocked a trail because something is broken. The fist time it happenned he was there for 24 hours. This time was a quick job, only ~4 hours.

These fuckers were huge and aggressive. They took big chunks out when they bit.

has anyone had a problem with bfg km2s developing flat spots? ive been trying to track down a vibe in my truck forever, and the shop just said that they have developed a flat spot in the tire itself causing vibrations.

 

Kinda hard to observe flat spotting yourself and from your recent history with the local shops I think they may be at that point where they'll tell you anything to make a buck. Why not rob the wheels and tires off the Land Cruiser and see if you have the vibes still.

 

thats a good idea!, i think thats what ill do this weekend. this shop has a good reputation around town and a friend recommended me to them, this is the 3rd shop telling me my tires are out of balance and nothings wrong with the front end. im going to go back to discount tire and see if they'll do any sort of warranty on the km2s, and hopefully the new tires fix the problem.
